UNDERSTANDING AERONAUTICAL CHARTS

Every pilot is required to know about Aeronautical Charts.
To know more about "Understanding Aeronautical Charts" Click here to download the full document which is 2.3 Mb.

Downloading this document is highly recommended.

In adition Pilots are very strongly requested to have the appropriate departure, arrival and ground charts at hand for each airport they are flying into or out off at all times.

Charts for airports can readily be found on the internet, The official AIP's published by the relevant national Aviation Authorities are usually freely available in public domain in Europe. An alternative is to find the relevant charts at the various VATSIM FIR or VACC wbsites.

You can of course also purchase charts either official ones from Jeppesen or dedicated charts produced for Flight Simulation such as Navigraph
