EuroScope is the youngest controller client in VATSIM (at the time of writing, February 2008) The first public version was released in teh fall of 2007. It is inspired by solutions and feedback from real-life European air traffic service providers with long on-line controlling experience on VATSIM.

Euroscope was created to serve all the needs a controller may have:

• Fully customizable colors, TAG element, assigned functions, radar display content.
• Freely movable TAG's and functions are available via TAG item clicks.
• Voice ATIS can be build up from pre recorded WAVE files.
• Automatic sector allocation to online controllers. Plane states indicate if they will ever enter your sector or not.
• Flight plan en route extraction using latest AIRAC data, full vertical profile calculation using predefined LOA point constraints.
• Servinfo "who is on line" data is integrated and mixed with the actual planes in the visual range.
• Multiple instances can be started in a local network connecting via a proxy server.
• Full featured buildt in simulator to train others using any radar client, includding ASRC or VRC.
• Ability to save your on line session data to a file and play it back later for analyzing.

• The second version will be released during early 2008 and will incorporate amongst other things:
• Coordination with adjacent controllers including altitude and handoff points.
• European style electronic flight strips (sector inbound, sector exit and departule lists.
• Multiple sector files in the same session.
• new METAR list.
• Integration with FSInn pilot client for Tower View feature.
• Complete profile manager
• External ATIS encoder
• Wake Turbulence category and RSVM TAG
• SID STAR and RWY assignment via pop up menu
