ATC UPGRADE REQUEST
PLEASE NOTE!
You have to be a registered
VATSIM-EUR member in order to be accepted by the
Upgrade system!

You must have selected Europe Division
within our Region from the VATSIM ID maintenance
page. Make sure you are also registered with a VACC!
- Your upgrade is handled by an automated system
(EuroTest).
All your records will be checked and updated in the
VATSIM-EUR Database. For a short
step-by-step description on the use of EuroTest, see
HERE.
- After you have submitted your answers,
EuroTest will display the result.
- If you have failed the test, EuroTest
will tell you that there is a waiting period, and to
come back after that period for a second try.
- If you have passed the test, EuroTest
will tell you to contact your VACC Training Department
to obtain an upgrade recommendation (which may involve
a practical test)
- If the test contain free-text-answer
(non-multiple-choice) questions, EuroTest cannot
evaluate the test automatically; This has to be done
by a human. In this case, you will not get the test
result immediately. After a few days, when the answers
have been reviewed and evaluated, you will be
contacted by e-mail with the result of your test.
- You must have a recommendation from your VACC before
we process your higher rating!
- After you have passed your test
and a VACC recommendation have been issued, your new rating
will be online within 7 days. This delay is because
Headquarters VATSIM-EUR need time to update their
system manually at the moment.
- Time requirements for your next rating starts from
the day you receive confirmation that your new rating
is online.
- You must request a Test for
next level up only from your
current level.
IMPORTANT!
Please read the instructions very carefully!
Upgrade is now an automated process. Your upgrade request
will be checked and processed automatically.
If you do not comply
with the time requirement, the system will reject your
request.
Please make sure that your correct
e-mail address is registered with VATSIM_EUR!
If not, contact our Membership Director!
Prior to requesting an Upgrade, make sure you fulfill
the VATSIM-EUR Upgrade
Requirements.
Before requesting this upgrade I have read, and fully
understood, the Upgrade Requirements. Further, I have
truthfully provided both VATSIM-EUR, and the VACC where
I am registered, with all required information. As far
as I know, I fulfill all Upgrade Requirements, and I have
read, or will read, all the instructions carefully. I
will not abuse the automated upgrade server.
